The end of summer is always a melancholy time. People are preparing for the upcoming winter and reflecting on the fun they had during those sunny months.

It is something we must all face because the weather changes and so do our lives. We think about how nice it would be to live in a constant summertime but we are unsure about how easy that would be to find.

St. George, Utah is one place that actually is a sunny haven for those wintertime blues. St. George is located in the southwestern region of Utah along I-15.

Just an hour north of Las Vegas, this city is a family friendly community set against a backdrop of beautiful red rocks. Driving through from the north the scenery actually immediately changes upon entering and then changes again upon exiting; it is a wonder to behold.

Many people have fallen in love with its beautiful landscape and mild winter. Because of this, St. George is one of the most rapidly growing places in the United States.

In fact, it only competes with Las Vegas for this title. This is because beyond just looks and weather appeal, St. George has many things to do.

This red city is located just 43 miles from Zion National Park. Tourists come from all over the world to see the wonders of this national park yet it is in St. George's backyard.

Zion is an amazing park filled with astounding cliffs and canyon walls. From day hikes to nighttime campouts, this park offers a great range of things to do. St.

George offers these things conveniently because it is located within an hour drive. Thanks to the year-round idyllic weather, St. George is home to many amazing golf courses.

It actually has the top ten best public golf courses in Utah. This means that when it's snowing in Salt Lake and your friends are indoors sipping hot chocolate for comfort, you can be outside practicing your drive.

In addition, these golf courses are set against the beautiful backdrop of the red rocks for enhanced beauty. If you want to cool down from the sunny activities, there are many lakes surrounding the area.

Along with beautiful Lake Powell located about three hours away, there is also Sand Hollow available to you within minutes. You can take your motor boat to Sand Hollow for a day with family and friends.

Sand dunes are located right next to this reservoir so along with boating you can go four wheeling through the sand. When you combine majestic beauty with warm nights it makes sense that you could hold performances outdoors.

This is just what the Tuacahn Amphitheatre realized and has now established itself on the musical theater stage. It has many professional groups traveling through and hosts them for weeks on end.

It is set against the amazing red rocks and brilliant canyon walls for spectacular entertainment along with an amazing view. If you decide you want to get away for the day and escape into something completely different, the Pine Valley Mountains to the north provide a new landscape.

Here in these mountains you will find lush growth which is home to many animals. Because of this you can hunt, hike, camp, and even fish in its beautiful streams.

With the economy in a slump, right now is the perfect time to invest in this amazing city. Thanks to the city's appeal, the market will continue to grow, but also considering the national economy, the real estate prices are currently lower than they have been or will be for a long time.

Also, looking at its rapid growth it is understood that it will provide a good return on any investment. There is easy access to the city with SkyWest Airlines.

There is an airport in the city and the company's headquarters are also located within. This will allow anyone to come visit you in an easy manner.

Along with the airlines, Intermountain Health Care realized the growth of St. George and in 2003 built a $100 million hospital. With great health care and an airport next door, St. George provides all the amenities needed for safe and healthy living.

With all of this in mind it is easy to see that St. George is a great place to live. It provides active and fun outdoor recreation year round for those that prefer not to have the chills. In addition to simple sunlight the city has majestic views and scenery so beauty is abundant and everywhere you turn.
